Recently Mason began assigning nicknames to everyone in our family. He started with Blake. Out of the blue one morning he called Blake Vicki. It was so funny. I was next. He calls me Frudence...which I believe is a mispronunciation of Prudence - even better! Marcus is now lovingly referred to as Andrew. And last but not least - Mason was leaving to go play outside and I was feeding Max. He said, "Bye mom. Bye Rudy." Rudy? Where does he come up with this stuff?
Every summer we wait expectantly for the picnic table to show up in front of the Shaved Ice place in Andover signaling its opening. Mason calls it the "Shlushly Stand". Since it's started getting warmer, but it's still too early for the "shlushly stand" to open, we made our own shlushlies at home today. Here's Mason with the evidence...
